Harran Lizard Monitoring Training has been Completed

“Harran Lizard Monitoring Training” was held in Şanlıurfa within the scope of “Preparation, Implementation and Monitoring of Species Action Plans for Endangered Species in Turkey within the Concept of a New Methodology (Endangered Species)” project.

Prof. Dr. M. Zülfü YILDIZ from Adıyaman University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology, along with DKMP 3rd Regional Director Hacı Ahmet ÇİÇEK, Deputy Regional Director Mehmet GÜRKAYNAK, DKMP Wildlife Department experts, relevant Branch Managers, and technical staff of the Regional Directorate, attended the training opening program that took place from April 25th to 27th, 2023.
Prof. Dr. M. Zülfü YILDIZ, an expert of the Endangered Species project, provided theoretical training to the participants.

The training provided in line with the Endangered Species project aims to strengthen the capacity for conserving the Harran Lizard species living in Şanlıurfa, increase public awareness, and develop an understanding of the threats and risks associated with species conservation.
